Geodemography

A good one in three has recently held their 40th birthday. It was of course celebrated with the nearest family and friends in the traditional way with good food, drink and perhaps a couple of songs and speeches.

Enjoying life is lived in the working and middle class. Some have made do with primary school, while several have a vocational education. Most are employees, but not at the highest levels, in traditional positions within crafts and retail. Therefore, their personal income is also relatively low, as is their wealth.

Most are single (seven out of ten), and only a few have children living at home. There is therefore only need for a smaller flat, which most often lies in an older multi-storey building. A few may also lie in a newly erected social housing development. Two thirds rent, either public or private. A little over half have a car, and a few couples have two. You can meet them in provincial towns all over the country, and in a few cases in smaller villages.

The Gallup compas

The model on the right shows where the Conzoom type is positioned in relation to the Gallup Compass. The Gallup Compass is a segmentation tool that, based on value‑ and attitude‑based questions, provides nuanced insight into consumer behavior, values, and lifestyle. You can read more about this in the section below.

Behaviour, lifestyle and attitudes

If you know someone among Enjoying life, you know that they value life and think that work is a necessary part of it. For without work, one cannot maintain life and make ends meet.

At home, the internet is used actively, especially to game and be on social media. Several also choose to shop online, where they often go for the best offers after careful comparison between the different web shops. Occasionally, money is also gambled on the many casino sites. One in four checks job postings weekly. The few who are unemployed therefore appear to search effectively - and in sharp competition with others for the few good jobs that are posted.

For many of those who work, a working week can easily be up to 50 hours long. Several take extra shifts to earn a little on top. That is perhaps why only half get out to the weekly exercise. Others have chosen to work part-time so they can manage it all. It is just not exercise they have to manage, for Enjoying life are not particularly sportingly active, unless it is a matter of e-sport.

The shopping is done either on the way home from work or in the nearest discount store, and an overwhelming majority steer directly towards the stores' own cheaper brands.

Enjoying life get on fine without the daily newspaper. They are not especially politically interested, and the news that interests them they get from the net or from friends.

They do not watch much TV, but on the other hand they pay monthly for several different streaming services, where they eagerly follow the popular series and watch the newest films.

When it is time to completely unwind, a charter holiday under the sun of the south is something almost all of them like. But it is also not bad to experience Enjoying life on a big-city holiday.

In terms of values, Enjoying life are one of the more spread-out types in the Gallup Compass. They point a little in all directions, though with an overweight on the Traditional, but they also have an overrepresentation among the more Modern. They think the state's money should be spent on solving problems in Denmark before we contribute abroad, and they are uneasy about payments over the internet.

The voting is varied, and no parties really swing out compared with the election result. If the weather is good and the sun shines, they would like to go down and vote at the next election, but a larger proportion than among the population in general prefer to stay home on the sofa.
